Restaurant Hubertus in Schluchsee

Neither the tasteless interior of the restaurant nor the absolutely talented chef do justice to the nice ambience at Schluchsee in the beautiful castle. Klöse steinhard, spaetzle buttery soft and tasteless meat of medium quality. Therefor a very hard-working and friendly service staff

Unfortunately the restaurant in this house is soooo bad that I can only give one star. Fair white I have to say that the restaurant and hotel are two different companies. The rooms and the building are really nice and clean. The reception is also very friendly. But what is offered there as "food" borders on bodily harm! Fortunately, the reception was able to recommend an expected restaurant. In this case the restaurant Seehof which is only a few minutes away. It is a shame for this house! I hope that a restaurant operator will be found there who loves and lives his work.

No window seat despite demand and empty tables. Changes only at an additional cost. The fried potatoes weren't done well, the salad with chicken breast didn't taste good - the last one didn't smell particularly fresh. At best, you get full.

Concerns my recession from June 28th, 2020: Dear Hubertus team, unfortunately we didn't make a mistake in the restaurant. Then it wasn't pizza but a tarte flambée. It doesn't change the fact that we were very disappointed in how you served us. And her "from above" answer too.

The view was great, but the coffee and the service wasn't that good.

We were really annoyed about the really bad food at an extremely expensive price! Not even the view could save the evening.

Staff is under stress. It goes on until food comes. Staff have no eye for the customer. Eating is ok. Plus point for the beautiful location. View of the lake. Gives no light on terrace, was very dark after sunset.

A great terrace. The food took a little while but the restaurant was also very busy. I just signed up because I read some reviews that I think are a little too sensitive. As I said, we had a wonderful wedding day.

Food took a little longer, but tasted good for it. The terrace is simply amazing.

How should I start ... in principle, the location and the building have great potential. The surprise is all the greater when you enter the restaurant after the first impression. I would describe the interior as boring and canteen-like. The dishes were unfortunately similar. Not well presented, spices were almost completely missing, just not very good. However, the service was quick and in order. We will definitely not come back.

Service is ok and breakfast also bites super .... but 1h and 45min in the evening have to wait for our food .... da mine was okay but not my husband's ... the fries were way too salty (jar tipped) and snitzel was baked black .... at a restaurant like this it should not be .we went on to eat at a different time and have certainly not regretted it ..... they give such food to us at the not yet .... luckily our hotel room was fine .... so I would recommend hiring another chef for this hotel 😉

I would give only one star, but I'd like to think that the staff had a bad day. The main issue is that we had to wait for over an hour for our food which wasn't even fancy. There weren't a large number of clients either. The waiters appologized two times that it takes such a long time, even without having inquired ourselves. We also had two small children which made the wait even more frustrating. One waiter who brought straws for the children sneezed in his hands right before he handed the us straws with the same hand. The burgers and fries were very salty. The pasta for children is embarrassingly non-complicated. I needed to change the diaper and couldn't find a changing corner. I ended up doing it on the floor. As said, I think it was a rare occurrence of wrongly aligned constellations... I hope so. The place is rather nice, the views are very beautiful. Parking available.

The location is really great with a great view. The food was ok, but there is still room for improvement, especially when it comes to the selection. I would like to see more regionality. Service was always friendly and attentive.
